Guide to Programs
Share |

SEM’s Guide to Programs in Ethnomusicology includes entries for schools, archives, and other institutions throughout the world. Each entry contains information on the type of program, degrees offered, areas of focus, curricula, special resources, faculty, student admissions, financial support, contacts, and websites. Prospective students in ethnomusicology are encouraged to investigate multiple programs and to assess their various strengths and resources. For additional information, visit the websites of individual programs and contact program faculty and current students.

All entries in this new edition of the Guide were updated in 2010. For an indication of more recent updates, see the date at the bottom of each entry. Please note that this Guide is not comprehensive—SEM is actively seeking entries for institutions that are not represented. In addition, program chairs are encouraged to send updated information whenever it is available. To submit updated information or to request a form for a new entry, please contact the SEM Business Office at sem@indiana.edu.
