The general editor is seeking contributions for the So You Want to Sing Series published by NATS and Rowman & Littlefield. The forthcoming title is So You Want to Sing World Music, a compendium of short chapters devoted to various vocal styles and genres from around the world. SYWTS World Music will be issued in hardback and paperback with a projected publication date of Spring 2019.

We are currently seeking contributors to write 4000-5000 word chapters on topics pertaining to world vocal styles. Proposals will be considered for all regions and genres, but we are particularly interested in contracting essays pertaining to Eastern Europe, Russia, and the Middle East.

If you are interested in contributing, please send a brief proposal and CV to me (Dr. Matthew Hoch) at mhoch@auburn.edu. Please feel free to forward this to any of your colleagues, PhD students, and performers/practitioners who may be interested.
