Registration is now open for the ‘Material Cultures of Music Notation’ conference at Utrecht University. The conference will take place in the University Hall from 20-22 April 2018, and will feature sessions exploring the relation of music notation to the body, materiality, improvisation, gender, iconography, technology, and many other topics. Keynote talks will be held by Beth Williamson, Kiene Wurth, and Roger Moseley.

A full conference ticket is priced at €160 and includes tea/coffee breaks, lunches, and a wine reception and conference dinner on Saturday. Day passes and tickets without a dinner can also be purchased, and there is a 50% discount for students and unwaged/unaffiliated researchers.
